After taking a good look at the new Baltimore PubNight map, we decided to head into a new neighborhood. To aid us in our quest, darts were thrown, tea leaves read, and finally the City Paper was consulted, and we're going to the Mount Washinton Tavern.
Luckily for all of us cheap bastards, Thursday night is chock full of cheap drink prices. Highlights are for "Tavern Thursdays" are $1 Beers, $1Tuaca Shots, and $2.50 Smirnoff Drinks. Their food menu looks pretty good, and they serve food until 11pm. Gander at the bottom for a link.
The catch is that parking is all street parking at meters. These meters are in effect until 10pm and only take nickles and dimes, and not even the kind you can smoke. Also they claim that parking can fill up quickly, so carpool if you can. Let's say that again: The meters are in effect until 10 p.m.
Soon to be found dead drunk in the Jones Falls,

Narrowing the choice for this week's location comes mostly from a geographic look at where we've been so far. While we've hit scattered venues inside the city proper, so far we've been ignoring the wide area to the north-west of it. While I have no hard evidence to support it, I theorize this is due to our deep seated desire to stay as far as possible from the path the JFX takes out of the city. With many people off this week and few working late, this is as good of an opportunity to test those waters as we'll get.

Yeah, john sent me an email asking me to write up an email. It seems he played as as pawns in a sick little game. Surely he will suffer for his impudence!
