Another (somewhat) advanced warning from Stuart...

Tomorrow night we're going to the Lower East Side (far trip from last week's Upper West Side). Way east to a (sorry) theme bar called Welcome to the Johnsons. It's a 70s rec room theme bar complete with plastic-wrapped couches and wood-paneled walls. Since none of us have been there we have a old PubNight place as a backup - Barramundi on Ludlow.

You may want to look at the map on citysearch (link below) if you're not familiar with the area. Basically, Essex is Avenue A below Houston and Rivington is two blocks below Houston and one above Delancy (almost connects to Spring Street at Bowery).

If you're hungry beforehand, check out Nice Guy Eddie's (5 Avenue A), Two Boots (37 Avenue A), Katz (Kosher meat - 205 East Houston) or Ratners (Kosher not meat - 138 Delancy) or any of the restaurants here.
