Karma is in the same place that used to house Jack the Ripper Pub, one of the banned-from-pubnight monster bars from the company that brings you Jeckyll and Hyde and the Slaughtered Lamb. Now that is has changed, we can go there. They don't have food, so eat before you go. Affordable dinner choices nearby are Fiddlesticks (54 Greenwich Ave) for Irish bar food, Riviera Cafe (225 W 4th) for sports bar food, Cowgirl Hall of Fame (Hudson & 10th) for southern food, Greenwich Cafe for 24 hour eclectic food, and innumerable Italian, Chinese, French, Thai and Mexican restaurants. If you're up for dinner, let me know and make a suggestion. I'll round up the troops and make a reservation if necessary.
