PubNight #180 (1/12/00)-Petro's Birthday
After being the first NYC PubNight visitor at our northern siblings, PubNight Portland (ME), I am back and looking
forward to PubNight reaching 4 years old (March), then reaching the 200 Wednesday mark (May.)
This week's reason to celebrate is my 33rd birthday - or what I am viewing as the end of the first third of my life (I'm an
optimist) - so I hope you can come celebrate with me. Sounds self-centered, doesn't it? If you don't want to celebrate my
Birthday, you can instead pay homage to one of the famous people who share my birthday (old to young): Rush
Limbaugh; Kirstie Alley; Howard Stern; and, Sporty Spice.
The location is Cedar Tavern at University and 12th, at 7:30pm on Wed. 1/12. We will be upstairs; turn left when you
reach the top of the stairs. CitySearch says, "Friendly staff, clusters of wooden tables and booths, good cheap food, and a
relaxed crowd make it a cozy haunt - and the artistic tradition remains."
