Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Evening,
Wasn't it summer like 2 days ago?
Since we've gone to places we've been before for the past few weeks it's time to venture somewhere new. I stumbled into this place last week, and thought it would make a good pubnight place, so tomorrow night, we'll test it out. Citysearch describes it as: "site of the former Cafe Tabac, the bar's wood tones are warmed up with hatched orange light boxes. The higher you go the hotter it gets, with a pool room and club-chair lounge upstairs lit in decadent red. "
Reasons to drink this week:
1920: The US Post Office rules that children may not be sent via Parcel
Post.
1847: Bunson invents a gas burner. Lab teachers celebrate worldwide.
1980: The "Blues Brothers" movie premieres in Chicago.
Look for us upstairs in the red room, there's no food so eat first.
See you there,
