Good Evening,
This week the choice fell to myself and Vineel who have/are celebrating birthdays this week. Vineel who has been traveling, took time out of his leisurely schedule to send me email about pubnight this week:
" I'm sitting in an internet cafe over in
Nairobi Kenya. I just spent 5 paradise-filled days in
the exotic isle of Zanzibar. I'm glad I'm me.
Now to biz-- where is this pubnight going to be? You
choose, of course, because I might be incommunicado,
but it should be somewhere big and mellow, so people
can talk. Not too much loud music, yeah? What do you
think? I know you'll choose wisely.
I land on Wednesday, so I'll see you that night if the
plane doesn't blow up."
Blow-up? How about just landing with-in 2 hours of scheduled arrival???
Celebrating birthday's this week with Vineel and I:
Sept 24, 1936 - Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets
Sept 27, 1722 - Samuel Adams, the president, not the beer
Sept 27, 1951 - Meatloaf, the singer, not the... oh never mind...
So where are we going this week? The goal was goth (for me) and not too loud (vineel)...
Without birth there is no death (I think some wise man once said that).
Besides celebrating birthdays this week, we should also acknowledge Pubnighter's Beth and Barry who recently lost their 15yr old much-beloved dog (and source of some great stories), Brandy.
