This week is Crispy's recommendation, although he will only learn that we are listening to him at the same time as the rest of you. A few month's ago, he recommended McCormack's, on 3rd between 26th and 27th, saying it had "a good pint of Guinness and excellent greasy bar food...Irish stuff." Sounds like as good a description of a "pub" as we could hope for.
CitySearch.com says, "The Irish stew is particularly good, and perfect with a pint of Guinness on a wintry afternoon." We hope it goes just as well with a Guinness on a too-damn-cold fall evening.
