Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Afternoon,This week PNNY is going back to one of our favorite neighborhoods to a bar we haven't visited in a while (well, a year). Last time PNNY was at this bar it was deemed "party like a rock star" night. Recent PNNY events have proved that we are on a roll partying like (if not BETTER than) rock stars only to wonder "what will this week bring"?
Since this is a return to a favorite of many long-time veteran PubNighters, it should be noted what we like about the bar. Petro likes the lunch box collection, TK likes the pool table, Kris likes the pinball machines, and for the rest there are also dart boards and thirteen beers on tap.
This week in PubNight-related history:
1836 - Samuel Colt received a patent for the Colt 45.
1967 - Pink Floyd recorded their first single, "Arnold Layne."
1988 - Alice Cooper announced that he intends to run for Governor of
Arizona as a member of the "Wild Party".
1999 - Johnny Rotten emceed VH1's live Grammy coverage.
So where are we going this week? Bring your quarters for the juke box, pool table and pin ball machine. Also, no food - but lots of cheap eats on Ave A down the block.
