Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Afternoon -
This week is an interesting intersection of holidays and events. In the few days surrounding Pubnight we have - Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse), Fat Tuesday and Valentines Day. The triumvirate threw around a few ideas in combining these holidays into one theme or icon for the night:
- a drunken dragon of love (but that sounds too much like a euphemism.)
- a drunken horse of love (of which Barry might have a video.)
- a Fat Chinese Cupid, or a drunken Chinese Cupid (somehow, these were just WRONG.)
Instead it was decided that everyone should just bring their horses, fireworks, masks, beads, arrows and hearts (plus any other relevant toys) and come out for some drinks - whatever holiday prevails, we'll revel along with it.
From last year, here are some favorite (anti) Valentines Day sites:

Also, since there is an overload of holidays and events this week, and on the off chance more than a few of us show up with holiday trinkets to share, we figured PNNY should be somewhere that would appreciate our antics.
So where are we going this week - electric blue martini or frozen embryo anyone?
See you there!
