Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Afternoon -
This week we're continuing on our venture to new bars with a few added requests from last week. One being that the venue not be so brightly lit, that it be open past 11pm and it potentially have a pool table. (Really what this means is that PNNY likes to drink in the dark late night while playing pool...)
Before you read about this week... a special announcement:
**Next week 3/27/02, marks the 6th (yes that's 6) year anniversary of Pubnight. Mark your calendars for this night. If you were only planning on attending a few Pubnights in 2002, this should be one of them! We look forward to seeing old & new school Pubnighter's (you old school kids know who you are). So plan to come out and share some beers, shots and stories with us next week!"**
Back to our regularly scheduled email...
CitySearch had no listing for this venue, however Shecky, of Shecky's Guide had this to say about the place: " Basically a good neighborhood bar with lounge like dŽcor, all the usuals are in place: the pool table, the TVÕs and the requisite two old polish guys debating in the corner who appear to come with the lease in places of this ilk. The surprise comes in the proprietorÕs foresight to install giant medieval lanterns, as well as candles to exemplify the feel of an olde English tavern. The bar staff is neighborhood friendly and the jukebox has a progressive mix of classics. "
So where are going this week? Back to our favorite neighborhood and perhaps a new favorite bar.
Mark your calendars for the anniversary!
