Good Afternoon

This week is the birthday of PNNY’er Ricky Bacon. Since we’ve been to one of Ricky’s favorite NY bars for PN in the last 6mos. (Anyone who has hung out late into the night with us probably has ended up stopping by there as well). The triumvirate suggested we pick a bar near Korova to start Pubnight off at, then move over at some point in the night to join Ricky & company for some salubrious birthday drinking at Korova.

This week, since frozen drinks seem to be cool attraction at PNNY recently, instead of getting historical facts, we’re including a frosty adult beverage recipe that you can make in the comfort of your own home.
One of our favorites from PNNY 302 was:
Mojito:
Ingredients (for one):

3 fresh Mint sprigs
2 tsp Sugar
3 tblsp Lemon juice (or lime), fresh
1 1/2 oz Light rum
Club soda, Chilled

Mixing instructions:
In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with the club soda (or seltzer). Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint.

So where are we going this week? Come join us for some cool, dark cocktails at Musical Box (look for us on the comfy couches in the back) then a frozen embryo or 2 to for Ricky’s birthday. Also, if it’s later - check Korova for us first.
