PubNight #312 (8/14/02) - 7:30pm at Otis

Good Afternoon -

This week we're sending off a recent regular PNNY'er who has decided to travel the world (or atleast Europe) for a few months and take-up some volunteering while she's there. I think Tamara mentioned gravestone restoration as part of her volunteer work, but you'll have to ask her in person.

Tamara writes:
"Ideally I'd like something convenient to either the F or A trains, with an outdoor seating area, frozen drinks or good beer, and perhaps some food. I realize this is a lot to ask of one place, so anything you can think of that remotely fits this description would be acceptable. Hell's Kitchen would be my first choice for a location, since I have tap class in the area.
I'm too busy to write any kind of a personal note for the e-mail, but please let everyone know that this is not goodbye, merely see you later. I'll be gone until October, and then I'll be living in Philly until I decide what to do next. There is a chance I'll return to New York. I will drink lots of beer and wine in honor of pubnight during my travels."

So where are we going? Join us for some cocktails in Hell's Kitchen... where, hopefully it won't still be hot as hell out.

See you there!
