Good Afternoon -

This week we're going to a newly opened bar, that has taken over a historical old bar space. Those of us who have lived in NYC for a while can probably say that at some point in our lives we've seen and/or known someone who's been in a band that's played at Brownies.

In the past few months, Brownies, like many of our favorite bars, has closed it's doors and been reborn a different bar. Schecky's describes the new rendition of Brownies as: "Once the dust clears, a good ole rock ‘n’ roll, local, bar re - opens it’s doors welcoming in a authentic East Village crowd. Minus the stage, this spacious bar accommodates a pool table, pinball machines, lots of seating and the best jukebox in the city."

So where are we going this week? They probably won't let us dance on the bar, but after a few games of pinball and/or pool, it might not matter.

See you there!
