PubNight #331 (1/8/03) - 7:30pm at Brooklyn Ale House
Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Afternoon -
Happy 2003. Welcome back from a long and hopefully celebratorious
holiday season for everyone - ok the holidays were really long, weren't
they? Now that we are heading into the doldrums of winter - it's still
a bit dark and definitely still cold, it's time to put away those items
to "re-gift" (I know you all got at least *one thing* that qualifies)
and pick up drinking with your Wednesday night friends again.
From Rebecca, who is picking Pubnight this week, since her birthday fell
during the holiday revelry points out about her need to drink locally:
"Not only is my birthday pubnight this Wednesday, but family is in town
this weekend, and Mardi Gras season is right around the corner. Plus,
it's been over a year and a half since Pubnight last ventured into
Brooklyn. This time instead of heading deep into Park Slope, we will
be going just one subway stop past the East Village to Williamsburg."
So where are we going this week? As it says in Shecky's "Sometimes you
just want a beer." Come one small stop further on the L than usual for
a cool Williamsburg night out.
