PubNight #335 (2/5/03) - 7:30pm at Fish Bar
Back to the Pub Night home page
Good Afternoon -
This week since the weather has given us a short break from the artic
cold, we thought it was the perfect week to try a new bar. Since we've
all been complaining about the cold, but not doing much about it (like
heading south to warmer weather) this week's venue should give us a
taste of warmer weather and sunnier days to come.
Citysearch has this to say about our choice:
"Fish bar is not bad as a respite from the neighborhood's sexy-lounge
wannabes, like Sin Sin down the block. The bartender is friendly and
there's a swell collection of beers, including Stella Artois and
Boddington's, even if the crowd seems like they're ready to take the
family truckster to Nantucket."
And some reviewers anticipate the PNNY crowd's arrival:
"Some of it's regulars are freaks (like in any good dive), but at least
they're friendly. It's like an extension of your living room."
So where are we going this week? To a new watering hole in our favorite
neighborhood.
Fishing pole optional.
