Good Afternoon
This week is longtime PNNY-er Rebecca's birthday celebration. Since her actual birthday falls closer to when people leave town for the holidays, she's generally waited until Jan to celebrate. This year, Rebecca decided to stretch her celebrations out through the month in which her birthday occurs.
In honor of Rebecca's birthday, we're celebrating PNNY this week in
Brooklyn (don't be afraid! See directions below). Rebecca had this to say:
"Forget turning 30. I'm all anxious about being a year away from turning 33. I have alot to do in the next year to compete with fellow Decemberite Baby Jesus. He founded a world religion by age 33, what have I accomplished? Celebrate my birthday and feed my messiah complex by joining me for a Brooklyn Pubnight...."
Directions - Blu Lounge is closer to the subway than any PNNY bar we've been to in the past 6 months (so getting lost in Brooklyn isn't an excuse).
Take the L Train to Bedford Ave (1st Stop in Brooklyn). Exit front of the train - Driggs Ave. At the street level turn left on Driggs and walk ONE block. Blue Lounge is on the corner of Driggs and N. 8th.
