Good Afternoon-
This week we're celebrating Cindy's (aka Milky Madam) bold departure from her 20s and fiesty entry into her 30s (welcome! from those of us on the 30-something side!). Here's what she has to say:
"Let's dance! Put on your red shoes and dance the blues!!!" Yes, it's that time again... the winter blues are upon us! However, what better way to turn that grumble into a samba... by coming down to the Parkside Lounge where, no, we still are not allowed to dance (thanks to a certain mayor)... but, we do have the power to use the bar's cue sticks, string them up as marionettes and dance them to tunes playing at Parkside.
Thanks to members of the Pubnight triune, I have been allowed to parse together a few words regarding this week's Pubnight. So, here goes... I've finally left my 20s behind, and now, I have nothing left but to embrace the dawn of 30. I don't plan on drowning sorrows though, I will stare this new age in its wrinkle-bound face and give it a big, fat, wet kiss! So come dance with wooden sticks, embrace the rising sun and smooch elder folk with reckless abandon! Celebrate the New Year, my determination to love this birthday and the winter that will turn into spring before we know it!
At Parkside Lounge you'll also get to see where Barry Drabin-Gray took command of a backroom stage during open mic comedy night (several times). The draft beers are good, I dont think the pool table is lopsided and happy hour... how could I forget.... they have one!!
