PubNight #384 (1/28/04) - 7:30pm at Harp Bar & Restaurant

To Previous Pubnights

Good Afternoon,

Since the weather forecasters can't commit to the pending storm dumping either 5 inches or 5 feet of snow on NYC tomorrow, the triumvirate decided to pick a place which was centrally located for everyone - and it happens to be a bar we've been meaning to go to for a few years.

Situated next to the PATH, major subway lines and the LIRR (should anyone need it), Shecky's has this to say: An upscale pub located in the hubbub of Herald Square, The Harp Bar & Restaurant offers a spot that's easy on the wallet and on the nerves. The dark wood decor and warm glow of the stained-glass lamps traversed by the friendly Irish staff bring warmth to this large, gangly space.

A Citysearch user notes the bar has good chicken wings.

So where are we going this week?

Fuel up the snow mobile, dig out your snow shoes, or hitch up the sled dogs and join us for a few pints in a warm place.

See you there!
