Good Afternoon,
In an effort to combat the winter blahs PNNY is trying out another new bar this week. We've walked by this place a number of times to other bars nearby (or across the street), and I've always noted we should check it out.
Citysearch says this about the bar:
"Named for Ingmar Berman's 1958 Swedish film, "Ansiktet" (released in
the U.S. as "The Magician"), this easygoing establishment is the Lower
East Side sister to the West Village's WXOU Radio and WCOU Radio in the
East Village. Thick blinds filter film-noir bars of light through the
glass facade, but the vibe inside is anything but pretentious."
So where are we going this week? A little film noir goes well with our drinking. Happy Hour is from 3-8pm every night and extends beyond the average well-drinks, so drink early, drink cheaply.
See you there!
