PubNight #413 (8/18/04) - 7:30pm at Croxley's Ale House

Good Afternoon -

This week since it looks nice enough to potentially sit outside tomorrow night, PNNY is ticking another new bar off our list of "meaning to try."

There were a few things about choosing this week's bar which appealed to us:

• We can be outdoors (which means you can smoke).
• We can drink good beer or enjoy one (or many) of the 'beer cocktails' on the menu. (When it comes to beer, how many of us can claim to have had a "Black Widow"?)
• And last, going back to a time before PN - when there was only Weds Night Wings, Weds night is 10 cent wing night at this place.

Shecky's has this to say:

Better brush up on your random beer knowledge, because if you order a Bud at this sports bar/beer garden, you're liable to be thrown out. Croxley's selection of 30 drafts and 75 bottles of ales and lagers does not include Bud, Coors, or Miller, but you can sample a Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Young's Dirty Dick, or Chimay White Cap. Add some nachos or wings' which go for 10 cents each on Mondays and Wednesdays'to your order, then snag a table outside in the smoker-friendly beer garden.

So where are we going this week? Grab a stack of dimes (well, and a few bucks for some beers) and look for us sitting outside.
