Happy World Series, Happy Halloween, and Happy Election Day!

This week is the birthday of illustrious PNer, Joan Matelli. She has this to say:

Between obsessively watching the Red Sox post-season games (they only scored while I was watching, so once I figured this out, I cleared my calendar) and preparing election coverage (love/hate the Associated Press right now), there was really no time to pick a bar for my birthday PN.
As I watched my beloved Sox clinch their historic Series sweep, all I knew was that I wanted a nice cocktail. Deborah raved about this LES spot she'd just checked out, with happy hour cocktails until 10(!), and Breedlove gave instant info gratification with his Vindigo. So what if I've never been there before myself? In this election season (I'll bet we still won't know anything about the results by tomorrow night), I'm getting accustomed to uncertainty, and a little adventure can't hurt.

So please join us at this Vietnamese-influenced bar, which is described as "Quiet enough to talk, loud enough not to be heard." Don't miss special drinks such as the Ginger Sake Cosmo, and four-dollar lychee martinis until 10pm.

See you there!
