I thought that in lieu of a PubNight e-mail, we'd all just gather around and sing our favorite winter carols to usher in the holiday season with a renewed spirit of love and mutual understanding. Then, of course, I remembered that the PN e-mail is a one-way medium through which you readers cannot communicate with one another, and that the act of singing is unfortunately limited to the audio modality. I further remembered that I hate carols, winter, holidays, mutual understanding, love, and ushers.
Ah well. It would have been great, right?
Since a few people requested TriBeCa this week, we're doing an old favorite -- TriBeCa Tavern. Cozy place, good drinks, friendly service, and darn tasty food. Remember, the bar has exits at the *front* and at the *rear*. (Wait -- you also can't see me doing the stewardess gesture. Damn the medium of the written word!)
