I offer neither profundity or wit in this email, but just an invitation to celebrate my birthday this week. Rather than crawling under a rock like I've been threatening every year since 25, I'm continuing to put my poor liver to work. However, since 2005's been going so well, I won't tempt fate by switching gears. Come join me reaffirm the great start of a new year with the finest drunks in the city.
La Na obviously doesn't get the rules of birthday PubNights: we allow PN regulars ("normals," as we in the Triumvirate call you) to write these e-mails on the condition that you provide profundity *and* wit, thus saving us from the unbearable chore of having to use our brains on a Tuesday. But we will forgive Jen, in part out of good birthday wishes, in part because she scares the bejeezus out of us.
