Good Afternoon -
First, I'd like to thank Deborah Barber for being a good sport about letting me annex her b-day PN this week in order to write and chose one last PNNY before the movers come and cart away my apt out to the wild, wild west.
A few weeks ago, my college drinking bar was rated the top scariest dive bar in NYC by Time Out NY. This was a sure sign that I've been there, drank that and it was time to go.
Most of you, in some drunken slurring or another, have asked me what I'm going to miss most about NY - the simple answer is YOU.
I'm going to miss Wednesdays full of: Vineel falling over trying to demonstrate some quasi martial arts move, Rebecca taking on PNNY (and winning!) with her actual smooth Akido moves, Beth and I comparing bras, Cindy and my pre-PN adventures (which sometimes included dinner) and my futile attempts not to spill red wine on Petro.
Since I'm headed out to a NW city full of microbrews, I figured a night of drinking Soju would be the right send off on my last PN while in NY. It might even be warm enough to hang outside for a bit.
So come, join me in toasting my 16 years in NY and life's new adventures!
