Wow. Last week's PN was so wild most of us had to go hide halfway across the country to recover from our embarrassment.
I'm having a wild time in the absence of the rest of the Triumvirate, let me tell you. The whole Risky Business bit--dancing around in my underwear, joining religious cults, publicly criticizing former sitcom stars, and boning that scaggy Batman girl. But it's all right, because I'm cute, and cute people are allowed to act like dangerous lunatics when we want to. Heck, I wouldn't have lasted a year at PubNight were that not the case.
Joan asked for something special this week, and I'm happy to give it to her: a little PN at Little Branch. This spinoff of Milk and Honey (not members-only like its predecessor) is a small and precious lounge that's reputed to make the best cocktails on earth or something like that. At the very least they're worth trying. If we don't like them...hey, the Duplex is right down the street.
Oh, fine, run away screaming. I'll still be here when you get back.
