Come to Pubnight. Come to Pubnight. We miss you. We love you. We gotsta, gotsta have ya. You know who you are. You make Pubnight special.

We drink together. We laugh together. We make funny.

...so, yah, that's just a lil' song I'm working on. It doesn't have have an ending yet. Hell, it doesn't even have a rhythm yet. But one day, just mark my words... it will have its day. Somewhere along the annals of time (with two "n"s, kids, top your snickering, boys) it will join the detritus of the eons. Some could argue that time is now.

Anyway, come help me finish this ode to Pubnighters gone AWOL. We can make melodic refuse together... all while drinking... and laughing... and being LOL "haha."

So, this week, we're checking out a place for some more "outdoor hanging out," this time in the East Village.

Shecky's says about The Porch:

Who says that only hillbillies hang out and daydream on porches? This otherworldly lounge radiates a warm ambiance from another place and time... You could easily spend an entire night in the outside garden sipping wine or sangria, surrounded by easygoing bohemians and tiki torches.

The New York Times says:

Beyond a metal gate lies a more intimate garden space, with Adirondack chairs beneath an ailing cherry tree, a swinging love seat among tulips and lavender, and co-owner Ozbil Pezcan barbecuing kebabs ($15 with rice pilaf and salad) on a backyard grill... An eclectic choice of beers, ranging from Turkish Efef and German-style Ramstein to Sierra Nevada and a Harlem brew called Sugar Hill, is $5 per bottle.

See you there!
