The powers-that-be tell me that I have to finish the PN e-mail before I'm allowed to go to bed. O merciless and ungrateful taskmasters! You're all bright--I'm sure you'd figure out where you were supposed to go even if I never wrote a thing. There's approximately a 95% chance we're going to be within a three-block radius of 14th St. and Ave. A. I mean, cut the cord, people.
It's just as well that I dragged my sorry carcass off the couch to write this one, though, since we are actually in the Village this week. The Pinch, last visited when it was Zanza Bar (PN #393), and before that when it was Googie's (PN #307). Next year I expect it will be called The Manhole...and dammit, we'll be going there again. Though I anticipate lots of grumbling about the dress code.
