I feel like I've been failing you as Triumvir lately. When's the last time I made inappropriately vulgar comments about the membership? When's the last time I wrote a post entirely in iambic pentameter, or whatever such idiocy I did when I was actually trying? When's the last time I wrote a post while really drunk? (Wait--that wasn't too long ago.)
I raise these issues not because I aim to do better, but because I am as always desperate for a lead-in. This week we's going to Society, a nifty new place (for all we know) in the West Village. Cindy assures me that it's...well, actually, she didn't tell me anything about it. But it's near a bank I used to go to sometimes, and you know what that means: quality.
