In the spirit of Halloween...

Three vampires walk into a bar. The bartender asks, "So whatcha having?" First replies: I vant some blood. Second replies: I vant some plasma. Third replies: I vant some blood. Bartender checks the order and reads it back, "So, you want two bloods and a blood light."

Hahahaha! So, this week we're heading to Gramercy to Pete's Tavern—historically, it's a place that dates back to the Civil War (and Pubnight hasn't been there in 9 years). Some say it's one of the longest running drinking establishments in the city. Oooh, maybe there's spooky ghosts clanking the pipes and causing mayhem. I'm sure Pete's is in no short supply of spirits. Haunted or not, this is was the legendary haunt of the short-story author O. Henry, known for his surprise twist endings

Pete's is usually quick to fill up. Its legendary status is NOT a little known tidbit. I've reserved a big table for Pubnight. It's under my name—since they needed a name for the holding.

For a twist of our own, let's try to not fall short on the tab. We're not always short, but a lot of times we are. Drink responsibly in terms of PubNight means... bring a calculator (or have one for a spouse).

See you at PubNight!
