Brrrr! Baby it's cold outside. What better way to revel in the chill than to head to Antarctica, where all the mixed drinks are served in pint glasses, all the beers are tasty, and everyone named CHRIS drinks FREE!
One of the cool things about the Antarctica Bar is that every night a different name is selected, and anyone with an ID with that name gets free drinks until 11 p.m. The names for the current month are helpfully posted on a calendar on their website. One of the many Chrisses in our midst (Chris K) tipped us off that the name of the night for this Wednesday is Chris. So all you Chris-monikered PubNighters out there (and there are several), we're expecting you to show up and make the most of your free drinks!
The other big draw is that Antarctica serves mixed drinks in pint glass, for essentially the same price as a beer. No fancy cocktails, mind you. They are just basic mixed drinks that get the job done. After all, this is a place that lists Sam Adams, Brooklyn Lager, and Yuengling as import draft choices on their website.
Ooh there's also a pool table and free WiFi.
