Hi folks,
This week we received a special request from Emily, who is moving from Chelsea to the Upper West Side on Thursday, to move in with her boyfriend and Pubnight attendee Chris C. Since "this will be a huge change and I will miss Chelsea," she requested a return visit to Woody McHale's as a sendoff from her old neighborhood, in part "because their buffalo sauce is awesome."
The triumvirate was happy to oblige since we had a great time when we were there last February, almost exactly a year + a week ago. The drinks are reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, and the food is excellent. The place has the same owner's as Frank's Steakhouse, so they are especially strong on the steak/burger end of the menu, but there's also good non-red meat options as well.
So come on out, enjoy some beers and buffalo wings, and help Emily say goodbye to her old 'hood while celebrating her move to a new home with Chris.
