When it comes to ridiculous birthday present ideas, many people think a talking dog would be great - but not me... Wouldn't it be cool if you had a dog with an uncanny skill at getting plastic wrap off the roll and around whatever you needed wrapped?
Yeah, a dog that could use plastic wrap - that would be a really hip birthday present. Although I'm sure there would be a downside (ie: you wake up plastic wrapped to the bed with your dog standing on top of you... of course, that would be when you realize your dog can talk... ha... a talking dog... that's just silly)
I credit myself for coming up with the idea for the birthday pubnight (I actually have no evidence of that - its something I've been saying for years and it may or may not be true - I think I came up with it so I didn't have to write a PN email because I was profoundly lazier than Kris or Petro - although that's probably not true) and as you all know I have grown to detest the entire concept so much that I have not written a birthday pubnight email in several years (again... not sure if that's true...)
We haven't been to Ace Bar since 2003 - and I don't remember why we haven't gone back.
(note: we don't actually know if Sophie's still exists... I don't think we've ever gone there - hopefully we won't need to - but there are numerous bars on the same block as Ace Bar that we should look into anyway)
