This week we have a special Halloween edition of PubNight. We are going to a spooky place with scary creatures like ghosts and goblins, bezerking robots, invaders from space, koopa troopas, pookas, and a barrel-throwing gorilla.
Okay, so it's a bit of a stretch as a Halloween theme, but Barcade is one of PN's favorite bars, and since it's on the second L stop in Brooklyn it's unlikely to be packed with parade overflow like most of lower Manhattan.
And hey, if you haven't come up with a costume yet, how about something inspired by 80s arcade video games? I'll totally buy you a drink if you show up in a video game-inspired costume!
Besides the games, Barcade is also well-known for its extensive and seasonally rotating list of American craft brews on tap.
