PubNight #586 (12/12/07) - Lansdowne Road

Previous PubNights PubNight Home

Lovies,
I have the distinct pleasure of inviting you all back to Lansdowne Road in Hell's Kitchen for this week's PubNight. We were there last Thanksgiving eve and experienced an exciting evening of a cheerfully inebriated Ricky talking a man out of getting into a fist fight with the bar's staff. Women with their children in tow were getting hosed and then coming outside to grub cigs. The place had a delightfully bridge & tunnel feel, but in the end, their beer selection won out the day.

I must reiterate, they have some great beer. They claim to have draught Paulaner Hefe. That is an uncommon treat. Their site also mentions other wheat ales, like Blue Moon & Hoegaarden, as well as Guinness, Stella, Magic Hat & Checker Cab that are flowing through taps. Add to that 20 other bottles from which you can choose. They have bunches of wines & whiskey's to warm you up too!

Didn't get enough Irish yummies last week, Lansdowne has shepherd's pie, banger's & mash as well as traditional American pub grub (including vegetarian options) to warm up and fill your bellies.

In summation, come down for an evening of delightful banter, a few drinks and food that fills you up. The easiest way to get there is by taking the A, C, E to 42nd St/8th Ave. Oh, and yes, I have confirmed they are in fact open, and we should have room to breathe in there.

Hope to see you there!

REMINDER: Next week is Holiday PN which will be hosted by Jay & TK at Chez Konomore.
