Hi folks!
Merry Christmas! I know many of you are away with family. And, that's great. Stuff yourselves silly, save your gift receipts and don't drink too much egg nog that you'll forget your flight time to get back home! For the rest of us folks who walked away unscathed from the holiday traveling virus, we will be gathering at the Blind Tiger Ale House in the West Village for a PubNight celebration of Kwanzaa. The first official day of Kwanzaa begins on Dec. 26!
Kwanzaa is a celebration of family, community and culture. It's primarily a pan-African holiday. Being that science has traced the origins of mankind to Africa, it's fitting that we celebrate this non-religious, non-sectarian holiday. We love an excuse to drink!
We haven't been to Blind Tiger since 2003. It had closed down and has reopened at new location. The brews are great, the food is yummy, so, if you're in town, then come on down! It's the last official PubNight of 2007!
Happy New Year!
Hugs,
Cyn (Mike & Becki)
