It's time for a journey in the Way Back Machine here at Pub Night. We last went to Rudy's Bar and Grill eight years ago. This was before my time, so I had to go and do some research. Never let it be said I don't do anything for you guys.
Citysearch claims this is one of the last bars in the city where the suits and the layabouts actually coexist. Who am I to doubt Citysearch's claim of unlikely social happiness. Personally, they had me at "laid-back, beer-laden haze". And if the twelve beers on tap don't tweak you, they also have free hot dogs.
In between scarfing down hot dogs, be sure to throw some early birthday wishes in the direction of Mike Puterbaugh, whose birthday is actually in three weeks. On a side note, next year, could you people please arrange not to have so many birthdays in June? Thanks!
