PubNighters,
The criteria for this week's bar are quite simple: alcohol, space enough to accommodate us and A/C that can force bears into hibernation mode. That being the case, we're heading to a place recommended by Raphy-- O'Hanlon's in the East Village. (Thanks for the heads up, Raphy). He and several of our PN group have experienced trivia night there-- the report is good on the strength of their air conditioner.
According to weather.com we are expecting temps to reach 90+ "real feel" temps. Rain is not expected, but then again, 9 months before I was born, neither was I.
The skinny on O'Hanlons: it's an Irish bar with good marks from Murph Guide, Citysearch & NY Mag for their bar service. I don't know about you, but for me, this is more important than cool decor. They apparently have a good Guinness pour too.
We are reserved for the back room (names to know: Nile booked it for us, Ryan is our go-to guy tomorrow). So, get your asses to O'Hanlon's tomorrow. Why? Well, NOT because I love you. And, NOT because you're awesome. But, because you have a responsibility to yourself to be treated great. And, it seems, that's what they do for you at O'Hanlons. Oh, and they get you drunk.
The DETAILS:See ya there,
Cyn, Becki & Jaye
