Hello Pubnighters!
I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving, and have recovered from the fun and/or stress of over-eating, spending time with family, and traveling out of town.
This week we have a different kind of holiday to celebrate -- Repeal Day! This Friday, December 5th, marks the 75th anniversary of the ratification of the 21st amendment, which repealed Prohibition. You can read all the details at www.repealday.com.
We will celebrate our right to drink at Bar on A, which PN last visited between Christmas and New Year's in December '05. I missed that week, but Cindy highly recommended we make a return visit. There's plenty of space in multiple rooms, a good beer selection, plus a snack menu that ranges from nachos to japanese style dumplings.
So come on out, share your stories of what you did and ate for Thanksgiving, and celebrate Repeal Day a couple of days early!
