Good evening, Pubnight!
This week for Pubnight we are coming out to celebrate the birthday of my wonderful roommate Lisa. Lisa turns 32 this month. 32 is a fantastic number. It's a power of two! It's a happy number! It's Superman! It's Clark Kent! It's a dessert topping! It's a floor wax!
For her much coveted Pubnight pick, Lisa wants to go to Pacific Standard, an awesome (and new-ish) West Coast themed microbrew pub in our neighborhood of Park Slope. (Convenient near the Atlantic/Pacific subway stop.) Beers currently on tap at Pacific Standard include Tröegs Mad Elf, Anchor Christmas Ale, Ace Perry Cider and a whole slew of Rogues. (Rogues less dangerous than they sound. Except for Lisa, who is always dangerously fiendy, especially after some Mad Elf.) And if any of you people are refugees from the West coast, you should feel at home here.
If you like microbrews, like Lisa, and you like birthdays, like Lisa, and you like numbers, probably not like Lisa, come out to Park Slope tomorrow night for all of the above. Good times, yes?
