I love when we pick a place that is so awesome and has so many great features to list that the email basically writes itself!
This week we make a return visit to Drop Off Service, an East Village bar that takes it's name from the former occupant of the spot, an laundromat.
But instead of spin cycles and detergent, Drop Off Service now specializes in draft beers served in Imperial pints, which are 20 oz. versus the 16 oz standard US pints. In the words of Jocelyn, "Yay, beer!"
There are 20 taps for you to choose from, spanning, well if not the globe than the North Atlantic-- there are British, German, American micro, and Belgian brews. I've heard there may even be lambics on offer, yum.
Plus-- it's dog-friendly bar, so bring your pooches if they are bar-broken!
And this week is Tarik's birthday part deux-- since last week was too late notice for a number of his friends--we are just extending the party an extra week :-)
Get there early-- Happy hour lasts until 8 with most drafts $3, mixed drinks half-off.
Cheers,
Rebecca, Cindy and Jocelyn and Tarik
