Oh Pub Night, it's that time of year again. For those of you keeping track at home, and those of you who can add, this week is Pub Night #650. Oh man, now I feel old. Anyway, Pub Night is contractually obligated to go to the nearest version of the afterlife that sounds awesome. No, really, it's right there in the charter. I swear!
For this iteration of the afterlife, we head to Valhalla. I'd tell you more about Valhalla, except my keyboard isn't mapped to make some of those characters, and I cannot remember any of the details of that episode of Xena with the Valkyries. So you'll just have to look it up on your own.
Fortunately, we can all go to Valhalla without being killed honorably by our enemies in battle. Or heading to Westchester. Though I still recommend not honking off Odin. Shockingly, we were last at this Hell's Kitchen bar 51 weeks ago. *gasp* Exposed brick walls, 33 beers on tap, and enough table and standing space to handle our crowd. No warrior women, but I think we can handle that lack. Or drink until we don't care.
Also, be sure to mark you calendars for three weeks from now, April 1, when Pub Night celebrates its 13th anniversary. Come out to the festivities at Swift's Hibernian Lounge. Yes, another PN bar steeped in tradition. April 1. No joke. Be there, or suffer the mocking of your peers.
