This week's email is written by Jen Na, who is moving to Europe for the next year. Bon Voyage Jen, we'll miss you!
This isn't goodbye since i'm just going away for a little bit and coming back... you know, like an eclipse or the tooth fairy or santa claus... except i won't be orbitting anything, leaving change under your pillow, or climbing down your chimney to leave you presents.
i've spent many a wednesday night drinking with some of you for the past 9 years. 9 years! i can hardly believe that my first pn was on the 2nd august 2000! who knew when i unknowingly followed my new friend, daniel thor, to failte to meet this intriguing group of fellow alcohol lovers that it would be one of the turning points of my life! a tradition of meeting at a different bar every week to drink... finally, a group that i can really believe in! and the rest is history...
so in this 'last' week, i am taking us back to doc holliday, a place where we've not been to since december 2000. i distinctly remember inebriation, G dancing on the bar (or was that me?), and much good times being had. at the very least, we will get fabulously drunk on $2 pbr's.
