Ah, summer. A time you can be outside in the bright sunshine and warm, slightly humid wind. When you can drink in the evening and get a tan at the same time. We love summer. That's why we're venturing to an outdoor venue this week for a midsummer's night's pubnight.
NOT. Global Warming has given way to Sudden Climate Change, which among other things, has made outdoor pubnights somewhat risky (and rainy.) We're going indoors until they change the global paradigm again. It's also pubnight #666, which makes the more judeo-christian theological numerologists among us want to avoid being in lightning-bolt range. Thee knows who thee are.
As if that wasn't enough reason to stop by, it's also frequent/infrequent pubnight dazzler Rachel Soll's birthday this week. Stop by and get her drunk, which she likes. She's still crazy-young, so you can drop an antiquated pop culture reference and feel temporally dislocated.
