PubNight #670 (7/29/09) - Lit Lounge

The NY Times asks, "Does Hogwarts have a drinking problem?"

Hagrid and Slughorn get stupified over a barrel of mead, mourning a monstrous spider who went into the light. Hermione gets a bit tipsy on butterbeer and sports a pearl necklace -- er, frothy moustache. She gets a bit handsy with the boys as they carry her back to the no-grownups-allowed bedroom. The story revolves around a bit of -- literally -- liquid luck that turns first Ron, then Harry, into the life of the party. Scene after scene portrays "alcohol as a coping mechanism."

So, what I'm trying to say is, come to Pubnight and get lit. All the wizards and witches are doing it.
