Welcome this week to Pub Night, flapper-style. When was the last time you were wandering up and down the street, unable to find Pub Night? Well, for me it was two weeks ago, but wouldn't it be fun if that were intentional?
Beth has birthday-requested the Back Room, a speak-easy style bar, pretending to front as a toy store. In all appropriateness, the bar is set back from the street, down a set of stairs and up anther. (If you find yourself lost, give one of us a call and we'll lead you in.) In reward, your drinks shall come in teacups, so you can affect that you're not a total lush, and instead high culture. It's classy if you drink the bits you spill into the accompanying saucer, right?
Beth has also dubbed it "wear a funny hat day" and who am I to object to a touch of silliness?
