Good news, Pub Night! According to The Fucking Weather, it's fucking nice out, and it's supposed to stay fucking nice for the next few days. Mid-70s and clear. Wonderful end to the summer! So we are taking the opportunity to try out a new beer garden in Astoria that we've had our eyes on. Studio Square just opened this spring and boasts 18,000 fucking-square-feet of space to drink, eat and congregate. German grill food, brats, a sizable selection of beers on tap, plus sangria and wine for those of you who are not beer drinkers. It's also three whole stops closer to Manhattan than the Other Beer Garden In Astoria, so you people have NO excuse not to come out.
Head on out to Queens this week! Bring along your beer liver, and an extra pack of cigarettes, because we'll be sitting at the HUGE outside bar. And remember to wear white, as this is your last chance before Labor Day. Unless you want to commit a fashion faux pas and bring shame and dishonor to all of your friends. I know I'll be embarrassed to know you.
