This week we celebrate Emily's birthday. Yes, her birthday was actually last week, but rival birthday girl Jocelyn won the arm wrestling match and got her PubNight way out in Brooklyn. (Emily contends it wasn't a fair fight because newbie Brooklynite Vineel bumped into the table at the pivotal moment that gave Jocelyn the win.)
So this week, we head in the opposite direction, somewhat closer to Emily's hood, to Lansdowne Road (that's the bar name, not the street name) in Hell's Kitchen. Irish pub, great food, excellent draft selection, you know the drill.
Oh, and Jocelyn and Emily will be late due to a rematch of the arm-wrestling on the steps of the New York Public Library, which was the only neutral ground they could agree on.
