I've been doing some thinking, Pub Night. Some week, I shall pick a bar for a reason that isn't the beer that is on tap, or its extensive beer menu. but that is not this week. Perhaps I could make it my New Years Resolution. Be More Creative, which may also read Be Someone Else.
I was so proud of myself for finding a new bar, the Brass Monkey. I did some checking through our archives and found that we had been to the Brass Monkey as a backup about four years ago. Curse my failing memory. Probably due to the beer mentioned above. On the upside, we seem to have enjoyed the bar, and since it.s been quite a while, I feel we're due a return visit. I believe I mentioned the extensive beer list, and they also have delicious Irish-y pub grub. (Oh dear, it's another thing I seem to repeat in a lot of PN emails. I'm such a creature of habit.)
And, for the record, no, this bar is not the place to balance out the calories consumed over Thanksgiving. However, remember that shared calories don't count. That's why you should always eat and drink with friends.
