Welcome to 2010! This is the first PubNight of the new year, and as such, it's time to play! By that, I mean, go bowling and drink. It's been three years since PubNight went bowling, I admit, that last time had been my birthday PubNight in 2007.
I've been known to be a competitive person, kinda sorta. Ok, who am I kidding, like a lot. I'm also known to be a pretty shitty bowler. So, care to show what you got on the long lanes? Or, no, hate the idea of renting shoes worn by hundreds of other people? I have a lovely compromise for you--- come to Bowlmor and drink anyway.
If things rack up like they did last time, we'll form two or more teams and pit teams (in the most friendly way) against each other. One regret from last time, we didn't come up with witty team names. We were just lane "37" vs. "38." We can do much better than that. Oooh, I know, those folks who don't like, nor want to handle some balls, but DO want to drink-- you all can name the teams for us.
Games can get pricey. It's $12 pp/game. Shoe rental is $6. Last time, I think we ended up playing 2 games then headed over to TK and Jay's house. Two games for two decent sized teams does take a while to get through-- so, it you are wondering what point of the night we are in, give my cell phone a call at (917) 538-1121.
