Attention, loyal subjects of Pub Night!
As your most benevolent and holy leader, I do decree on this coming day, the thirteenth of January, in the year Twenty-ten, all persons of the land of Pub Night shall gather at the establishment known as Rattle 'N' Hum. There, you shall join your infallible ruler at her table, and quaff of the large collection of potables offered by the aforementioned establishment. You shall drink of the cask, and eat of the food, and laugh in merriment. You may also drink of the draft. And drink of the cask again.
You shall also raise a glass to the late great Pub Nighter Galileo, who in this month, four hundred years ago, did discover that the great planet Jove has its own satellites, as our fair Earth does. He was, in formal parlance, rockin'.
I do also decree that from this day forth, and until such time as it is New Years, the year of the Pub Night shall be known as Twenty-ten. Those using an inappropriate and excessively syllabic moniker for the year shall be ridiculed by their fellow citizens, and will be forced to continue drinking the libations of the land.
